In a recent study, 4% of respondents reported using a sole sourcing model, whereby sponsors select a single central lab for all their testing needs. Another 9% are in the planning phase to adopt this model, while 33% are presently evaluating the approach. Collectively, about half are considering or have taken steps to move forward with a sole sourcing arrangement.
