In a recent survey of respondents familiar with eCOA and ePRO systems, ISR asked about respondents’ past and projected use patterns regarding both the source of clinical reported outcomes, and the source of clinical outcomes assessments (COAs.) Device-based interfaces continue to gain popularity over non-device-based sources, and projected use seems to follow that trend, with respondents expecting an increase of 13 percentage points. As for those who input COAs into those interfaces, respondents reported that patients are expected to be the leading source of COAs over clinicians and caregivers/observers.
