Kate Hammeke

Chief Executive Officer

Kate Hammeke is Chief Executive Officer of Industry Standard Research (ISR), where she leads the firm’s strategic vision, research innovation, and client partnerships across the biopharmaceutical services industry. With more than twenty years of experience in cross-industry market research—including 17 years focused on CDMO and CRO market intelligence—Kate is recognized for helping organizations translate complex data into clear, actionable strategy. Kate became CEO in January 2024 after leading ISR’s contract manufacturing market research division, where she played a central role in shaping the company’s manufacturing syndicated and custom research offerings. In her current role, she oversees ISR’s full research portfolio, guiding studies that shape industry benchmarks and inform critical decision-making for drug innovators and contract manufacturers globally. Prior to joining ISR, Kate held senior marketing intelligence roles, including Director of Marketing Intelligence at Nice Insight, where she contributed to the growth of a leading life sciences research practice. Over the course of her career, she has led custom research initiatives for more than 50 Fortune 500 brands and authored more than 100 articles on pharmaceutical outsourcing, market dynamics, and industry trends, establishing her as a trusted voice in the life sciences market research community.

Rebecca McAvoy

Chief Research Officer

Rebecca is the Chief Research Officer at ISR. She has been conducting market research in the pharmaceutical industry for nearly twenty years. She joined ISR in 2013 and has focused her research in the clinical development and outsourced clinical services spaces. During her tenure at ISR, Rebecca has led a wide range of qualitative and quantitative market research projects, such as brand strength assessments, customer needs assessments, message testing, and thought leadership work. She works with clients to create bespoke market research tailored to their specific needs and also directs ISR’s syndicated research in the clinical development space. Prior to ISR, Rebecca worked at ZS Associates, primarily concentrating on market research work for Top 50 pharmaceutical companies. Rebecca earned a Bachelor in Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame and spends her free time attempting to corral her three children.

Brandon Allison

Director of Marketing

Brandon Allison is ISR’s Marketing Director and a versatile contributor across the organization, supporting marketing, sales, and operational efforts since 2021. With more than a decade of experience spanning sales, customer service, and strategic communication, he brings a practical, people centered perspective to ISR's mission: connecting pharmaceutical service providers with the insights they need to keep drug development moving. In his role, Brandon works with the analyst team to make ISR’s research easy to understand and even easier to use. Whether he’s shaping content, refining messaging, or helping present complex data in an approachable way, Brandon focuses on giving readers the information they need to make confident decisions. His eye for detail also plays a key role in sharpening ISR’s syndicated reports and other resources that support the industry. A lifelong musician and songwriter, Brandon approaches his work with an instinct for creativity and pattern recognition. He’s perpetually curious, driven to improve processes, and never satisfied with doing things a certain way simply because “that’s how it’s always been done.” Known as a supportive teammate and thoughtful problem-solver, he’s committed to helping ISR deliver high-quality, actionable intelligence to the pharma services market—one well-crafted message at a time.

Alan Baldwin

Director of Market Research

Alan Baldwin brings to the table six years of market research experience in project management as well as in other areas, including managing the Life Science Panel here at ISR. His diverse professional background informs his approach to market research as a whole. Time spent in the social services allows him to maintain a human-centric perspective during each project phase, while his experience in sales operations grants him the keen eye for process, cross-team collaboration, and attention to detail needed to complete a successful project. Additionally, his market research expertise guides his hand in managing each part of the project lifecycle with skill and appropriate care. In his spare time, Alan coaches a U9 girls’ soccer team for a local soccer club and the players help him stay on his toes outside of working hours.

Jocelyn Reynolds

Director of Market Research

Jocelyn joined ISR in May of 2021 and has been conducting quantitative and qualitative research since 2016. She focuses primarily on market research in the clinical development and clinical technology service provider market. At the start of her career, Jocelyn managed several large-scale government research projects at a boutique research firm for two years, where she was honored to receive the Burns “Bud” Roper award from the American Association of Public Opinion Research in 2017. More recently, Jocelyn led numerous customer survey projects across a variety of industries at a primary research firm.

Ben Holt

Director of Business Development

Ben Holt leads business development at ISR, where he works closely with commercial leaders across the life sciences industry. His approach is rooted in one core idea: better decisions come from a clearer understanding of the market. Being in the life science industry since 2015, Ben brings a background that spans commercial and client-facing roles within the life sciences ecosystem. He has experience working alongside CROs, CDMOs, clinical technology providers, and many others. Over time, he has developed a strong understanding of the challenges these organizations face in positioning themselves, communicating value, and standing out in crowded markets. Prior to his career in life sciences, Ben served in the United States military, where he developed a disciplined, mission-oriented approach that continues to shape how he works with clients—focused, direct, and outcomes-driven. Outside of work, Ben loves being a husband to Hannah and a father to Eli and Abigail, as well as doing anything that involves family and friends.

Tim Eggert

Director of Market Research

Tim Eggert is a Director of Market Research at ISR, bringing nearly a decade of experience in end-to-end market research project execution. Throughout his career, Tim has managed complex qualitative and quantitative studies for clients including top 50 pharmaceutical companies, global consulting firms, and international organizations and nonprofits. His work spans both clinical development and outsourced manufacturing, with research that translates directly into clear, actionable insights for strategic decision-making. Tim holds bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and International Business, as well as a master’s degree in International Studies. He is known for his hands-on project management approach and commitment to delivering high-quality insights paired with a smooth, reliable client experience. Outside of work, Tim enjoys traveling, reading, spending time outdoors, and is the latest to get swept up in the pádel phenomenon.
