ISR’s primary market research provides a snapshot of the current EDC (electronic data capture) market, offering fresh insights into real user experiences with these systems and opportunities available to EDC providers over the next few years. We surveyed 116 experienced EDC outsourcers and collected their insights on 252 recent encounters with service providers.

In order to keep up with the rapidly changing market, we at ISR have refreshed our EDC Benchmarking and Market Dynamics report with two main goals in mind. The first is to help pharmaceutical sponsor organizations and CROs make more informed EDC selection decisions. This report contains a wealth of information on the provider selection process, including the criteria that are most important in choosing an EDC provider and the functions and factors that influence outsourcing decisions. The second goal is to help EDC providers optimize operational and marketing strategies.
