Report Overview
Although clinical outcomes assessments (COAs) and patient reported outcomes (PROs) were originally collected and reviewed on paper, their electronic successors (eCOA/ePRO) have eclipsed paper as the preferred data collection method. eCOA/ePRO systems can offer an easier user experience, better response rates, higher quality data, and faster trials. However, eCOA/ePRO providers must always be on the lookout for new trends and needs in the market such as the need for improved integration with other technologies, increasing use of patient-owned devices, and incorporating Artificial Intelligence capabilities into eCOA/ePRO systems.
ISR has refreshed our eCOA/ePRO Benchmarking and Market Dynamics report with two main goals in mind:
1. Help pharma sponsor organizations and CROs make more informed eCOA/ePRO selection decisions –
This report contains a wealth of information on the provider selection process, including the criteria that are most important in choosing an eCOA/ePRO provider and the functions and factors that influence outsourcing decisions. Sponsor organizations and CROs can learn how individual providers perform along key attributes such as Ease of use for patients, Real-time data access, Flexibility for mid-study design changes, and more.
2. Help eCOA/ePRO providers optimize operational and marketing strategies –
This research measures key aspects of brand strength of 21 eCOA/ePRO solutions on the market and offers a pulse on trends such as desired improvements to eCOA/ePRO systems and a breakdown of the expected sources of reported outcomes. Also new in this version, respondents rated their overall satisfaction with recently used eCOA/ePRO providers and described why they assigned that satisfaction rating. eCOA/ePRO providers can use these insights to understand more about their strengths and weaknesses and focus on the capabilities that matter most.
